All I can say is I'll never forget..To be honest, at the time I didn't appreciate
John Lennon's music the way I do today.
I was a headbanging 'New Wave of British Heavy Metal'/Punk type kid. But just the fact that someone assasinated a rock star was so surrealistic and strange. I mean, that only happened to heads of state etc..right?
24 tears ago and it feels like yesterday....
Sure would have liked to hear what he would

I remember when I was young and being told what happened (seeing as how im too young to live through the time) damn, it was a heartbreak, I still can't believe him or George is gone, but ecspecially him...

We visited Strawberry Fields in Central Park last summer. Solemn yet awe inspiring. Somebody arranged this floral display that day.
